Eric’s family and Hybrid Steel are proud to be able to honor Eric’s memory through this scholarship fund, to encourage others to pursue a trade career. Through this scholarship, we aim to support both high school students and adults interested in attending a trade school to refine their hands-on skillset.

 

Eric's work ethic and dedication to improving his skills were unlike any other. He was a master tradesman and took pride in all that he accomplished. He was a valued and loved member of the Hybrid Steel family. Eric was passionate about working with his hands and being a millwright and welder. He loved adventure and the outdoors, and he always went all out on everything he set his mind to. He has touched so many and will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure to spend any time with him.

We hope that we will be able to help others like Eric wanting to pursue a career in the trades by giving them more opportunities for financial help to enhance and improve their skills through higher education.
