We are excited to announce that we will be awarding up to $7,000 in scholarships this year! Last year was our first year awarding a scholarship. Timothy Lane from Fort Benton was awarded with a $500 scholarship. Due to the amazing turnout with our annual fundraising event June 2022 we were able to raise the money to award a significantly higher scholarship for 2023. The board has not yet decided if multiple scholarships will be awarded or one large scholarship. That will mostly depend on the number of applications that are received.
The criteria for this scholarship is as follows:
- Registered to attend a trade school in Montana
- Montana Resident
- Available to both graduating high school students and adults looking to return to school
- Complete an essay (essay question on application)
- Deadline has been extended to March 15th, 2023
- Scholarships will be announced on March 22, 2023
Scholarships will be paid at the start of the second semester directly to the educational institution to help with tuition costs.
