support trade careers
Our MISSION
In today's world, many students face pressure to pursue traditional degrees rather than trade school, despite the many opportunities in the trades. This is even more important now than ever. Students interested in hands-on service careers, such as welding, electrical, woodworking, plumbing, and more need to be encouraged. Through this scholarship, we aim to support both high school students and adults interested in attending a trade school to refine their hands-on skillset.
Our purpose
Eric Burtchett Memorial Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. Our purpose is to provide financial support to Montana’s blue collar/trade population by awarding an annual scholarship to selected recipients who are enrolled and attending a trade school in Montana. This will allow them to further their education and obtain higher paying positions within their trade field. It will also help to increase the skill level and quality of craftsmanship offered by Montana trade businesses.
